Ramon Bernabe – Architect & Co-Founder BLAU
Born in Spain, Ramon completed a Master in Architecture at the Polytechnic School of Catalonia (UPC)-Barcelona TECH and obtained a grant to study at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), in the United States. His studies mainly focused on sustainable architectural strategies. Before founding BLAU he worked several years for internationally renowned offices in China such as SPARK and architects group ADA (OAB + EQUIP + B720) where he developed urban planning projects and mixed-use buildings in Asia. He is a Registered Architect in COAC with number 61237-5.
Tomas Labanc – Architect & Co-Founder BLAU
Born in Slovakia, Tomas graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (AFAD) of Bratislava, in Slovakia. He was a visiting student at the HTW of Saarbruecken, Germany, and at the VUT in Brno, Czech Republic. Before founding BLAU, he worked in Europe with Vallo Sadovsky Architects developing residential projects. He then moved to Shanghai where he worked several years in award-winning companies such as RTA Office that focus on large-scale projects in China.
